Make findr your default search

Two ways: add it once in your browser's settings, or install the extension, which also puts the search counter in your toolbar.

Chrome

  1. Settings → Search engine → Manage search engines and site search.
  2. Under Site search, Add.
  3. Name findr, shortcut f, URL /search?q=%s.
  4. Open its menu and choose Make default.

Brave

  1. Settings → Search engine → Manage search engines.
  2. Add a site search with the URL above.
  3. Make default.

Edge

  1. Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Address bar and search.
  2. Manage search engines → Add, using the URL above.
  3. Set as default.

Firefox

  1. Visit this site. Firefox offers to add findr from the address bar.
  2. Settings → Search → Default Search Engine → findr.

Safari

  1. Safari doesn't allow custom search engines.
  2. Keep this page bookmarked, or add it to your Home Screen on iPhone.

OpenSearch

This site publishes an opensearch.xml descriptor so browsers can discover it automatically.
